Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority offers many bus and rapid (light rail train) routes that serve the University Circle area and drop you a short walk from the Barking Spider. Additionally shuttle service is provided throughout University Circle by Case Western Reserve, University Hospitals and University Circle Inc.

RTA’s HealthLine, a state-of-the art bus-rapid transit (BRT) system, offers rail-like convenience with the flexibility of a bus, It connects Public Square via Euclid Avenue to the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere in East Cleveland. The stops at Cornell Road and East 115th Street are both a short walk from the Barking Spider.
The Red line runs from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on the West Side to East Cleveland. We recommend exiting at the University Circle stop then walking to the Spider (20 minutes). A new closer station is expected to open in Little Italy in late 2015.
Buses travel on Mayfield Road through the communities of Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, Lyndhurst and Mayfield Heights, between the Cedar – University Rapid Station and SOM Center Road. The stop at Cornell Rd. and Euclid Ave. is a short walk from the Spider.
This route travels from the Cleveland Clinc to the Cedar-University Rapid Station, across Fairhill/Kemper to Shaker Square. It continues to East 130th Street and East 131st Street through Cleveland and Garfield Heights. It ends at Marymount Hospital in Gafield Heights. The 48A route turns from East 131st Street to Caine Avenue on its way to East 177th Street and South Miles Road in Gafield Heights. The stop on Adelbert Rd. near Euclid Ave. is a short walk from the Barking Spider.
This bus travels from the Cleveland Clinic to the Cedar-University Rapid Station in Cleveland. It continues along Cedar Road through Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, University Heights, South Euclid and Beachwood. The route ends at the Montefiore Home in Beachwood. Some trips continue to Ursuline College in Pepper Pike. The stop at MLK Drive and Euclid Avenue is the closest to the Barking Spider.
This bus travels from Public Square in downtown Cleveland to East Cleveland. It travels through University Circle along East Blvd, Ford and Euclid. The stop at Ford Drive and East Blvd. is the closest to the Barking Spider.

Circle Link Bus Route
Runs every 23 minutes from 6:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and every 35 minutes from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary. Red Circles indicate shuttle stops along the route.
Scheduled every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, but not major holidays. Blue Circles indicate shuttle stops along the route.
The Heights a.m. loop runs 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday through Friday during the school year. No service is available on holidays or during breaks.
Commuter shuttles run continuously from 5:15 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5:15 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Friday and Saturday. The North Campus buses arrive at designated stops approximately every 20 minutes. The South Campus buses arrive approximately every 25 minutes. South Loop route is highlighted in blue; North Loop route is highlighted in orange. Each circle indicates a shuttle stop on the route.
