The Barking Spider Tavern hosts Open Mic nights on the first and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Each musician is assigned a 15 minute set. Sets begin at 8:00pm and run through 12:30am.
Sign-up begins at 7:00pm, but late-comers are welcome. We usually—but not always—have a few free spots after 11:00pm, for those who can’t make it earlier. The house piano and the Gary’s loaner guitar are available for musicians who wish to play them. Gary often videotapes his open mic nights, so ask him if you would like to see the results.
