While much of this winter has been mild, we know that won’t last. On a cold snowy day one of the best places to be is by a warm fireplace, watching the snow fall from behind glass.

If you don’t have a fireplace at home, or if you do, but don’t want to deal with the fuss and bother, then come down and warm yourself up at the Spider. When the weather is nippy the fire is usually lit by late afternoon or early evening.

If the table by the fire is occupied, don’t worry, the heat radiates to adjacent tables. Or, if you stand by the fireplace, the people sitting there may engage you in conversation. Now you can make new friends while you warm up!
